STRAP Consultancy provide a unique combination of practitioner and academic expertise, developed over more than 30 years of statutory and civic society experience.
Significant challenges faced by societies around the world today stem from existing gaps between the state and civil society. While many NGOs, charities and other civic entities exist, few possess the type of expertise required to not only bridge such gaps – essential for successful societal cohesion – even fewer offer analytical solutions that provide embracing strategies which facilitate the realisation of statutory and community based objectives simultaneously.
STRAP consultancy was established after its founders’ collective experience of working among and witnessing the efficacy of innovative community-focused partnerships. Using both statutory and grassroots expertise to tackle the challenges that often arise from government and civil society disconnect, STRAP is strategically positioned to bridge socio-political divides. This approach enables dual objectives of reducing both statutory and community-based concerns in relation to policies and ensuing attitudes applied by both to address issues impacting society.
