STRAP Consultancy provide a unique combination of practitioner and academic expertise, developed over more than 30 years of statutory and civic society experience.
Significant challenges faced by societies around the world today stem from existing gaps between the state and civil society. While many NGOs, charities and other civic entities exist, few possess the type of expertise required to not only bridge such gaps – essential for successful societal cohesion – even fewer offer analytical solutions that provide embracing strategies which facilitate the realisation of statutory and community based objectives simultaneously.
STRAP Consultancy joined forces after working across the societal divide and witnessed the efficacy of innovative community focused partnerships using both statutory and grassroots expertise to tackle the threats posed by violent extremism. This methodology fulfilled dual objectives of reducing both security and community concerns regarding the respective approaches deployed to address violent radicalisation societally.
